How do I encrypt a file?
Simply check off the "Encrypt File" check box and click on the 'Get File' button, select the file you want to encrypt, enter a password or phrase and click on 'Encrypt'.
What happens after I click on the 'Encrypt' button?
A CRYPTO file ending in .crypto will be created and saved in the location (folder) you selected.
Will my original file be affected?
Absolutely NOT! CRYPTO simply reads your original file into memory and creates a new encrypted file with your password or phrase.
How can I decrypt my CRYPTO file?
Simply check off the "Decrypt File" check box and Click on 'Get File'. You must select a file ending with .crypto (file type). Enter the password you used to encrypt the original file and Click on the 'Decrypt' button.
How secure is my file?
AES encryption is used by U.S. government for securing sensitive material, so we can say it is pretty secure. To put this into perspective: on a trillion machines, that each could test a billion keys per second, it would take more than two billion years to recover an AES-128 key.
How can I recover my password?
In a nutshell, you cannot and we cannot help you either. If you encrypted a file with a password, it is impossible for us to decrypt it for you.
What assurance do I have?
As far as a secure file encryption, we got you covered! Keep your password a secret. CRYTO will try to decrypt your file using any password but if the password does not match the one used to encrypt your original file, the file cannot be decrypted.

CRYTPO File Encryption software by Levicom Inc. does NOT gather any personal information from the user. The software does not need an internet connection to function correctly and therefore no information is relayed to Levicom Inc.
The process of files encryption or decryption is done on the user's PC or mobile device. CRYPTO File Encryption software does NOT store a copy or transfer the original file NOR does it copy, store or upload the encrypted file to any location what so ever. The user's password used for encryption is only used as a key for encryption and decryption and is NOT stored anywhere on the user's PC or mobile device.
All file names, folder names, file content, folder content, user device name and information is NOT gathered and kept on record or shared with any third party.
Changes to Policy
Levicom Inc. will occasionally update this privacy policy. When we do, we will post a prominent notice in this section of this policy notifying users when it is updated. We are going to use your personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email, and you will have a choice as to whether we use your personal information in this different manner.
